In a year when print newspaper book review sections are on the decline, being cancelled, or being moved into the Arts section of a daily newspaper, the Sacramento Book Review is challenging the trend. Sacramento Book Review is a free monthly circulation publication reviewing a multitude of books in more than 30 categories and genres.

Launched September 8, 2008, by Heidi Komlofske and Ross Rojek, Sacramento Book Review wants to become not only a vehicle for Sacramento readers to find new books and authors, but to help create, support, and encourage local writers, publishers, and readers. Sacramento Book Review aims to bring new books from authors of all types to Sacramento readers in an easy-to-read, easy-to-find format.
